With the QNTUM21 Actuator control & analysis module, you can control supported components and systems in the engine and drivetrain individually via the app. This allows you to observe their reaction in a targeted manner – a valuable aid for troubleshooting.
Your vehicle responds. You recognize connections.
Instead of exclusively evaluating stored errors, you can deliberately trigger available actuator tests. This allows you to check whether a controlled component reacts visibly and whether further investigation is required.
Which components and tests are available depends on your vehicle, the respective control unit, and its software version.
Example: Turbocharger vacuum control.
In appropriately equipped BMW 35d and 40d models, troubleshooting the turbocharger vacuum control can be complex.
With the enabled controls for this purpose, you can observe the reaction of the affected actuators in a targeted manner. Together with a visual inspection and, if necessary, a vacuum measurement, this helps you to systematically narrow down potential sources of error.
Important: Electrical control alone does not confirm the tightness of the vacuum system or the mechanical function of all components.

Actuator tests can move components or activate systems. Only carry them out under the conditions specified in the app and keep hands, tools, and clothing away from moving or hot components.
The module supports diagnosis but does not replace professional testing or repair. A successfully executed control command does not automatically mean that the controlled system is working without errors.
One module. Your vehicle.
The module is valid for one vehicle with one VIN. The range of functions depends on the control units supported for your vehicle and the enabled tests. You need a supported adapter for the connection.
First, select your vehicle. Then, open the corresponding offer in the vehicle finder to view the product details and add the item to your shopping cart with your vehicle assignment. Final activation of functions takes place after control unit identification.
