Your vehicle has a history. Its transmission is part of it. With the QNTUM21 TCU license, you gain access to the transmission software calibrations released for your vehicle.
For ZF and General Motors.
This license is intended for the following supported transmission variants:
ZF 5-speed automatic transmission of the 5HP family with GS864x control unit.
General Motors 5-speed automatic transmission – GM5.
The GS864x designation refers to the ZF variants supported here, not to the GM transmission control units.
The right software for your transmission.
Via the QNTUM21 app, you can use the software offered and approved for your transmission control unit. The specific range of functions depends on your vehicle, the installed transmission variant, and the detected software version.
Not every calibration or function is available for every transmission variant. The respective release in the app is decisive.
Identify first. Then adjust.
Before purchasing, please verify compatibility using your vehicle identification number (VIN). The terms "5-speed automatic", "5HP", or "GM5" alone do not confirm compatibility. The final release is determined based on the vehicle and control unit identification.
This license pertains to the transmission control unit (TCU). A license for adjusting the engine control unit (ECU) is not included.
Technical condition matters.
Software adjustment does not replace maintenance or repair. A technically sound transmission is a prerequisite. Existing shifting problems, slipping, or other irregularities must be professionally checked before application.
Use a supported adapter with appropriate firmware and observe all displayed connection, power supply, and flashing instructions. Non-standard additional displays or other OBD/CAN devices must be switched off or disconnected before the flashing process.
One license. Your vehicle.
The license is valid for one vehicle with one VIN and the transmission control unit approved for it.
First, select your vehicle. Then, open the corresponding offer in the vehicle finder to view the product details and add the item to your shopping cart with your vehicle assignment. Final activation of functions takes place after control unit identification.
